The CEE region is currently reviewing positive forecasts for its future as leader in the Energy marketplace.

At this time, the EU is putting efforts to diversify its gas sources and routes to avoid future supply shocks and the CEE region is detrimental to providing this possibility to the rest of Europe. However, it is essential to make sure that the EU’s position as Russia’s main export market is secure or else it could face losing its most important gas supplier to the Asian market. Turkey and other SEE gas transit countries see an opportunity not only in infrastructure developments, but, potentially in gas wholesale as well. In contrast, a way for the EU to contribute to long-term security of supply is by reducing its demand for fossil fuels through improving energy efficiency and switching to renewable sources.

The CEE Energy Forum will enlighten you and equip you to deal with the uncertainties of a market that is undoubtedly poised for rapid transformation through 2009 and beyond.

New topics in 2009

  • In depth analysis of the global Energy market and the relative position of the CEE market
  • Oil, Gas, & LNG Infrastructure
  • Market advances in Energy Efficiency techniques
