Modernisation in Financial and Banking sector

What is new in CSEE regional financial trends?  European finance experts are meeting in Sofia Hilton Hotel today for a two day international Finance conference to discuss the latest finance developments in the region. EastEuro Link, British conference organiser is hosting 3th annual financial forum with a special focus on Finance and Banking Modernisation in Central and Southeast Europe.

H.E. Dimiter Ivanovski, Bulgarian Deputy Minister of Finance, will welcome address the Government representatives from Austria, Serbia, Montenegro, Hungary, Poland, Macedonia, Greece as well as senior executives from European financial institutions, banks and companies.

After the governmental address at the beginning of the conference, the speakers from major investment institutions – European Investment Bank and International Monetary Fund will examine investment financing in South East Europe, credit growth and its implications. Private equity funding will also be discussed on the conference day one.

The second day of the conference will be focused on restructuring and modernisation of CSEE banks, new technological improvements in this sector and EMV impact, migration and security system.  The leading companies in this area will exchange experiences and ideas and present the most up-to-date solutions. Some of them are Oberthur Cards System, Cryptomatic, Visa International, nCipher and INGENICO.
